Letter to You, the victim

Abussed

Dear you, the Victim,

So sweet, noble, tender, loving and caring.

So alluring, enticing, sacrificing and satisfying.

Faithful, honest, humble and mild, powerful and victorious

Fierce, warrior, bold, courageous fearless.

He will be anything he needs to be

To save and show you that no matter what, he’s got your back.

But how can I say these things when you didn’t get that big dream; the boo, job, house, car, business or just to be happy, loved or cared for.

How can I say these things when at a tender age, he entered your room at night and did things too heavy for words.

When she turned you into nothing but a sex toy, pleasuring her night and day.

Innocent and humble you were but it still happened.

How can I?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 55:8

Joseph was a man innocent and holy yet was abused (though not sexually) by those he loved but at the end, it all turned out good because he held on.

Hold on, hold on, hold on until God’s plan is fully manifest. Hold on even when things don’t seem to pan out.

Hold on…
